Whispering Willows was purposefully designed that many will take time to reflect on what God has done and is doing and, after being renewed in spirit, return to that which God has called them.
To Reflect is a call to think quietly with a certain calmness…bringing back to attention and considering…maintaining memory.
Romans 5:1-11 NLT reminds the believer that he has been “made right in God’s sight” and that “peace with God will be given,” and that in “undeserved privilege is where he stands,” living life “confidently and joyfully.” Where we were once “utterly helpless,” we are now counted as “friends with God.”
Daily we need physical and spiritual renewal, giving us hope as it states in II Corinthians 4:16 NLT, “That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.” And “those who wait on the Lord will find new strength.” (NLT Isaiah 40:31)
And as you Return to that which God has called you, may you think as Paul did in Acts 20:24 NLT, “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus–the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.”
